Julia Snyder Classes 2012
Julia Snyder is coming to Bedecked and Beadazzled! We are delighted to have her join our roster of teachers. She has a fun loving spirit and is sure to keep us in stitches throughout the class! She has authored several needlepoint books including 176 Amazing Stitches, Backgrounds & Such, Categories for Needlepoint and Darn Fillings. She has written numerous stitchguides for various designers and owned a great shop in Texas. Now she travels around the country inspiring us all with her charm and stitches.

Join us as we stitch this colorful Colors of Praise bee designed exclusively for us in honor of our Anniversary. Julia selected the stitches and they are amazing. Learn great dimensional techniques that are really easy and can be applied to many different canvases. This darling little canvas is only 4.5" square but is packed full of fun.
Cost is $170/ plus kit fee of $220.00. All supplies are included.

To the Beach with Sandy Arthur
How fun is this? Join us for three days of virtual beachtime. You and four of your best friends stitched onto a canvas that later can be inset into a Stirling tote. Fun! Fun! Fun!
This project is full of great threads and techniques. The design is line drawn on 14 count monocanvas – 14” x 16”. The design area is approximately 11.5” x 13”.Stitches include Woven Plait, Mosaic, Woven Cross Stitch, Diagonal Tent, Upright Gobelin, Cashmere, Uncut Turkey Work, Satin Stitch, Couched Slanted Gobelin, Upright Cross, Wrapped Backstitch, Smyrna Cross, Twisted Lazy Daisy, French Knot, Round Buttonhole, Pearl Perl Curl, Stem Stitch, Scrunchie, Trammé Brick, Open Wave, French Knot, and Slanted Gobelin. Some prework required.
Saturday and Sunday April 21-22, 11-5pm New Dates

Brenda Hart Canvas Embellishment Classes 2012
Brenda has authored 5 stitch books and her ideas are great.
She teaches for us several times a year and it is always a sell out. Everyone has such a great time. Brenda works with each
student individually, selecting stitches and threads for the canvas of their choice. Since everyone is stitching a different piece we all get to share in the excitement of watching one another’s canvases bloom.

Cost is $195/day plus the cost of canvas* and threads of your choice. Sign up for the day(s) of your choice. Stitch different pieces on different days or stitch the same piece for several days and work out the details. The choice is yours. Create the class of your dreams to fit your schedule.

Oh how I love this design! Who doesn't love peacocks? Combine that with Orna Willis' sense of color and you have a masterpiece! Orna is a very talented designer who thinks outside of the box. Her sense of color is one of the things that attracks me most to her work.
Join us May 19th and 20th for two days of stitching with national teacher and designer Orna Willis. We will start with a blank canvas and watch the peacocks come to life from different shapes and stitches. This is a charted design, not a painted canvas. The thread kit alone for this design includes 37 full skeins of thread. The colors rock! You have 3 choices of colorways for your peacocks. What could be more fun? This is an event not to be missed.
